APPROACH: The first step was to define the look of this site. Image is everything in fashion and this site needed to have a fresh edge that would attract the right audience. Next came the storefront architecture which needed to integrate well into the design of the site as well as be functional for the client. There were several custom applications added to this site to make this shopping experience one step above. APPROACH: The ability for self maintenance was a requirement but the size and scope of the site didn't warrant any custom application building. The right alternative to a custom application in this case was to set the client up with Macromedia Contribute. With the foundation set the requirements were clear and design came to life. APPROACH: The design of this site changes every year to compliment the artwork chosen to represent the festival. With the color palette and style in constant flux, we decided that CSS would be the right technology to implement for maximum control and flexibility. APPROACH: The design of this website began with the logo design. Once the identity and color palette were established, the website structure fell right into place.
